· Humpback Whales arrive in Tenakee Inlet in May and stay through December. They can be seen bubble feeding in late July and August.
· Killer Whales are migratory but typically can be seen in the beginning of July and Late in August.
· Dahl Porpoise can be seen May—September.
· Brown Bears come out of hibernation early in the spring and can be seen on the beaches in spring. Then they congregate around the salmon streams throughout the inlet from June—September.
· Sea Lions are here in July through March.
· Seals are visible all year round.
